Carlos and Krystal chose the Woman’s Club in Lodi for their wedding ceremony and reception. The coolest thing about this place is that the setup is the same for both! The guests sit at round tables as they come in, and the ceremony takes place on the stage at the front of the room. I loved the outside of the building as well, and the getting ready room was just below in the basement. Such a neat venue!
The Wedding Day
Krystal spent the morning getting ready with the bridesmaids in the basement. Carlos and the groomsmen hung out in the lobby to greet the guests as they arrived. Once it was time for the ceremony, Krystal’s brother walked her down the aisle. Carlos greeted her at the bottom of the stairs. Then they walked up onto the stage together to say their vows.
Don’t miss the wide shot of the whole room as Krystal and Carlos share their first kiss as husband and wife! After the ceremony finished, the newlyweds and their bridal party went downstairs for some celebratory champagne, signing of the marriage certificate, and then some portrait time while the guests were being served appetizers. And it all took place in the same beautiful room! Lots of natural lighting, twinkle lights in the trees, and a bar at the back of the room. They chose to use navy and pink as the wedding colors. While I never would have thought to put the two together, I must say I liked the look.
I love the antique feel of the place, but even more than that I love how excited Carlos and Krystal’s friends were for their union. You could tell that everyone was genuinely having a great time. The general atmosphere in the room reminded me a lot of celebrating with my college friends. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
