Carlos and Krystal chose the Woman’s Club in Lodi for their wedding ceremony and reception, and the coolest thing about this place is that the setup is the same for both! The guests are seated at round tables as they come in, and the ceremony takes place on the stage at the front of the room. After the ceremony was over, the newlyweds and their bridal party went downstairs for some celebratory champagne, signing of the marriage certificate, and then some portrait time while the guests were being served appetizers. And it all took place in the same beautiful room! Lots of natural lighting, twinkle lights in the trees, and a bar at the back of the room. They chose to use navy and pink as the wedding colors, and while I never would have thought to put the two together, I must say I liked the look.
I loved the antique feel of the place, but even more than that I loved how excited Carlos and Krystal’s friends were for their union. You could tell that everyone was genuinely having a great time, and the general atmosphere in the room reminded me a lot of celebrating with my college friends.
