You might remember Rachel’s first photo session when I did her graduation photos last March (before the pandemic was ever a thought in our minds!). Fast forward to this year…when Rachel told me she was pregnant and she wanted to have maternity photos done, I was so excited for her and Danny! Unfortunately we had to wait a couple months to do those photos – third trimester is a lot better for those bump pictures than 12 weeks pregnant!
But the time has finally come, and it worked out well on timing. Since baby girl is due to arrive early August, we went out to take some sunset maternity photos in Livermore last weekend. During the session, I asked Rachel if they had decided on a name yet. It is still up for debate…but Danny says they have the last name picked out already. 😉
One thing I love about Livermore is that there are tons of spots for photos just a few minutes away from my house. Rachel described this area as a “hidden gem”, and I think I’d have to agree with that. The leaves and shrubbery made for some perfectly layered maternity photos with the setting sun in the background. I LOVE Rachel’s dress and how flowy it is! I had a really hard time deciding on these favorites because they all turned out so great.
Rachel and Danny, I hope you guys enjoy this sneak peak of photos! You both will be great parents! (And knowing you two, your baby will come into the world ready to jump into a swimming pool…so that’s pretty cool haha)
