Last weekend Chad and Farah got married in their backyard! (You might remember their golden hour engagement session from just last week!) It was the perfect day for a summer backyard wedding in Livermore…even if it wasn’t what they originally had in mind for their big day thanks to COVID-19, they were able to celebrate with family and now they can say they’re married!
Chad and Farah just reached their two year dating anniversary, and they tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony on Sunday afternoon. Their families came together to help set up the backyard and make sure all of the details were accounted for. One thing I love about small, simple DIY weddings is that it is an opportunity for family and friends to gift the bride and groom with their talents. Chad’s parents helped get the ceremony setup ready, his sister made their cake. Farah’s mom made a Persian feast for dinner, and her cousin DJed for the evening.
After the ceremony, we took some quick family photos and then headed over to Ravenswood for some formal portraits! Very fitting since Ravenswood was the original venue for the day. I’m so glad they still got to have some photos there.
Chad and Farah, congratulations on your wedding! You’re MARRIED now, and you’re just at the beginning of a beautiful life together! Thank you for trusting me to capture your memories. I hope you enjoy this sneak peek of your wedding photos!
