Jazze and Ken are married! Their Redwood Canyon wedding day in Castro Valley (at a Wedgewood facility!) was gorgeous. After taking their engagement photos nearly a year ago, I couldn’t wait to photograph their big day. Now, admittedly I’m not the biggest Star Wars fan out there (I HAVE seen a lot of the movies though!!) But even I couldn’t help but be thrilled at all the special touches they added to their themed wedding to make it so unique to them! From a Jedi officiant to storm troopers to building a lightsaber together during the ceremony, they thought of everything. I always love seeing what is important to a couple come out in their details.

One of my favorite touches is that Jazze’s wedding dress was custom made by Anomalie. I loved the long tiered skirt and intricate sequin details. Her tiara went so well with it, and even matched her engagement ring. Even aside from the details though, Jazze and Ken’s whole wedding day was beautiful! Many many happy tears during the ceremony, touching speeches at the reception, and of course their first dance together.

We had just a short amount of time after the ceremony to get those “just married” photos taken, along with their bridal party (plus storm troopers!) and family portraits. I think we hit the timing just right as the sun went down over the hills! We had to bring out the lightsabers for a few shots of course. 🙂
