Meet Chad and Farah – soon to be husband and wife (as in a few days from now!) but for now, the latest engaged couple on the blog. We took these Livermore golden hour engagement photos less than a week before the wedding due to special circumstances…namely COVID-19. When I first started talking with Farah about scheduling their session, she mentioned that they would be in Livermore in early April. Well, we all know how that worked out. Despite their venue canceling the wedding, Chad and Farah are still going to tie the knot in an intimate family ceremony this Sunday. Farah loves summertime, and it is fitting that they’ll get married on the first FULL day of summer this year!
Farah and Chad met at UC Irvine when they were both in the same Intervarsity Christian fellowship Bible study. I heard a little bit of their story during this engagement session, and I loved it! Farah started falling for Chad because she thought he was such a good friend. Chad was equally as interested in her, and after a late night DTR, they became a couple. They got engaged at the end of 2019 at Disneyland as the snow was coming down. Of course we got some engagement photos with their Mickey hats. 😉
This was pretty much a dream golden hour engagement session. Chad is an actor, which means he is great at knowing how to behave in front of the camera, and Farah has a great laugh with a beautifully genuine smile. AND to top it all off, they really took my advice on “coordinating and not matching.” Chad got out of the car and showed me his socks – they were yellow, to coordinate with the flowers on Farah’s dress!
Chad and Farah, I can’t wait to see you on your wedding day! You are both truly putting God at the center of your relationship, and I love the way you care for each other. Only three more days until you commit to a life of serving God together!
