I’ve been trying for so long to get someone to do family photos at Alviso Adobe in Pleasanton. Enter Brian and Nicole, finally someone willing to give it a shot! Brian and Nicole were our first friends at church when we moved to Livermore. Another young couple, without kids yet, and they want to get sushi with us?! Perfect! Imagine our despair when we learned that they were moving to Canada! (For a good cause – don’t worry guys, no lingering resentment 😉 Or any at all to begin with! Haha)
Alviso Adobe Family Session
Alviso Adobe turned out to be a great place for a family session. The little ones can run around on the bridge or in the open spaces without being able to get TOO far. Lots of cool architectural elements – the bridge for one, and a couple of white adobe buildings. And of course lots of trees, even in the summertime. This is probably the biggest benefit of this location…when the rest of California is dry and brown, finding a spot with green leaves can be tricky.
Back to Brian and Nicole: their journey has brought them back to California for the time being, and we’ve gotten to see them a few times this summer. I was very excited to take family photos with their 1.5 year old son! While you may be tempted to think I coerced Nicole into wearing this beautiful yellow dress to match my favorite color scheme, rest assured that the outfit choices were all them. 🙂 I was so happy with how their clothes popped against the greenery and subtle hints of sun coming through the trees.
Brian and Nicole, thanks for a fun evening of photos! We are thankful for your friendship and looking forward to supporting you in your next steps as you continue on in your missionary journey! I hope you enjoy these few sneak peeks.
