Del Valle Engagement Photos in Livermore, CA

When Jonathan and Amber contacted me a little over a week ago about shooting their wedding in May and said they wanted winter morning engagement photos done as soon as possible (as in THAT weekend!), I suggested Del Valle in Livermore as the perfect spot to meet up for their session. Del Valle engagement photos are something I’ve been wanting to do ever since shooting a senior session there in October. The views there are beautiful and there are plenty of spots for great photos. Plus I have that park pass that I bought last year and have only used a handful of times. Who wants to go hiking in the next two months to help me get its full worth? 😉

Jonathan + Amber

Jonathan and Amber will marry each other this May after being engaged for two and a half years. They met over TEN YEARS AGO in Venturing, which is a co-ed branch of the Boy Scouts. They started out as just friends at first and then dated later on after knowing each other for a while. Jonathan proposed on New Years day two years ago! My favorite thing about their wedding is that it will be held at a Boy Scout camp that holds a lot of memories for them. What a special way to recognize their past as they join their futures!

Speaking of favorite things about their wedding…I lied, I have more than one. Jonathan is a graphic designer, and his work is super cool. As soon as I heard about his career I told Alex, “I bet he’s designing his own wedding invitations!” And guess what. I was right. He is. 🙂 I can’t wait to see them in May.

Amber says that Jonathan is the funnier of the two of them, but I had a great time getting to know them both on Saturday during their session. They have great smiles, are naturals at posing, and I loved watching them interact with each other. Jonathan and Amber, I hope you enjoy this sneak peak of your engagement photos! I can’t wait for your wedding day. All of the details are going to be beautiful!
