When Monica and Kevin said that they wanted a beach engagement shoot, I suggested that we meet up in San Francisco. More specifically Baker Beach near the presidio. I was hoping for some fun views of the bridge and photos with the waves. Baker Beach is one of my favorite places to view the Golden Gate from, as long as you stay south of the rocky section! I got to the beach a little early, scoped it out, and then went over to the Legion of Honor to walk around a bit while I waited for them to arrive. Unfortunately Monica and Kevin got stuck in some crazy traffic on the Bay Bridge. They made it just in time for their engagement session in San Francisco during sunset time! We walked down to the beach and thankfully it wasn’t too foggy despite being a bit overcast for the afternoon. We could actually see the bridge!
But don’t let these empty beach photos fool you – we had to be creative about finding spots without people in the background. Last time I came to this beach, the number of people was not quite as numerous. But I guess a nice weekend will bring people to the coast! We made it work anyway.
As for these two, Monica and Kevin met online and are blending their families. They’re getting married right here in Livermore in a few months, and I couldn’t be more excited for their wedding. Monica has such a beautiful smile that she’s sure to make a gorgeous bride. The way the Kevin looks at her shows just how much he loves her!
Beautiful shots! Love the bridge in the background, too!
